OUTREACH PROJECT:
It might take an entire class period to create the project plan. Once you have the plan in place, you will spend the rest of the course working on the project. Keep the plan simple enough that it can be accomplished with a reasonable amount of time and effort. Working as a group can be challenging. Help students compromise when necessary. Make sure that every student is involved. You could consider having small groups work together if the class can’t decide on one project together. Find a way to present the groups’ projects together.
