Teachers can adopt the belief statements and apply them to their own classrooms and pedagogy.
Students have registered for and want to attain the ESL endorsement. They will now explore the belief statements that informed the construction of the TELL endorsement.
Do they agree or disagree with the belief statement?
What examples have they seen in their own classrooms or in their own experiences that relate to the statement?
What can they do as teachers to promote the belief?
What implications are there for classroom teachers?Each group will take 3-5 minutes to share their thoughts with the class. The facilitator will wrap up the discussion with his/her beliefs.
