Create a learning environment that is sensitive to and supportive of English language learner’s cultural identities, C and literacy development, and content area knowledge.

Assessment: 50 pts.

Due: Session 5

Teachers can work from the perspective of an informed educator as they make decisions about programs and placements for ELs.

Students have explored the Inclusive Pedagogy characteristic of guiding principles. In preparation for exploring the characteristic of essential policy, students are asked to consider issues of standards and classifications for ELs.
